October is a time to especially honor your loved ones in Spirit - Suzane Northrop

October is a time to especially honor your loved ones in Spirit

Welcome to October! The beginning of Fall, or Autumn, whichever you prefer.

Here in the U.S., October 31st is usually celebrated as Halloween. However, in Mexico, October 31st is the holiest day of the year. They call it “Día de Muertos,” which translates to “The Day of the Dead.” It’s all about honoring our loved ones in Spirit. As Wikipedia puts it, “In Mexican culture, death is viewed as a natural part of the human cycle. Mexicans view it not as a day of sadness but as a day of celebration because their loved ones awaken and celebrate with them.” Sound familiar?

So, at the end of October, there should be an honoring of our personal loved ones on the Other Side. They are to be remembered. Note especially those who have positively impacted the lives of others while making huge sacrifices. And of course, let us not forget the others.

And let us also not forget Ruth Bader Ginsburg, also known as “RBG.” This Jewish woman recently crossed over into Spirit. She was a fellow New Yorker, and also a Brooklynite who had rooted for the Brooklyn Dodgers.

So many people in America have benefited from RBG’s activities, judgments, statements, dissents, and outspokenness. If you haven’t seen either—“The Life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg”, and/or the film “On the Basis of Sex,”—you should watch. Don’t forget, RBG was the second woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court (after Sandra Day O’ Connor).

Not only that, RGB was First in her class at Harvard Law in 1959. After graduation, no one would hire her. Why? Because she was a woman! What a painful experience to not be able to do what you love, because of your gender. But negative experiences can trigger positive results. As they did for RGB.

RGB asserted many great positions for the U.S., and we have had the privilege of reviewing all of the great things she accomplished, by watching and listening to her recite fair justice for all, via the Internet. All you have to do is Google her name.

On a personal note, I do know about having a passion to do what you are called to do. Turns out, I followed my instincts and my calling, and became an outspoken medium. In the beginning, being in the public as a medium meant mock or rock. I’ve experienced both.

Also in the beginning, there were only a few people doing public work as a medium. However, what I can say is that because of the nature of my work, connecting with loved ones on the Other Side, I was able to do the work I loved. That is a gift. I gave what I was meant to give, from the beginning. Some may say I was ahead of my time. But things clicked at the right moment.

I’ve been mentioning in my newsletters, the new membership opportunity to the DPS (Dead People’s Society), a term which I first coined in my first book in 1994, “The Séance,“ A Guide for the Living” (later entitled “The Séance, Healing Messages From Beyond”). The membership includes videos and podcasts, and clips from shows some that you have never seen before, and more. The HBO show, “Life After Life,” is available; as is the MSNBC interview I did with Linda Ellerbee.

Hopefully those sitting on the fence about joining our group will revisit the membership which offers a lot of key information with very cool pricing.

Reminder: the month of October is a time to especially honor your loved ones in Spirit. Consider that they are all in a type of “Heaven.”

Also, RBG is someone we can honor since she made such a difference. Personal message follows: “Ruth, Enjoy reconnecting with that wonderful husband you loved!”

Happy “Día de Muertos,” and Happy Halloween to everyone!

Warmly,
Suzane
