See You in September

See you in September, as the song goes, is about possibly losing your summer love at the end of September.

Everyone, regardless of who you are, knows that September brings change. There is a natural psychological thought of going back to school, work, or just the change of seasons which is about to happen. Although the song is about “A Summer Love,” it’s about life.

And as life, the cycle continues.

I continue as always to say there is one constant in life, and that my friends is Love. Now, that could mean many different things to many people but be sure, there is not a person on this earth who does not want to be loved, period.

It’s probably in many ways most of us learn our important lessons, and or have our greatest joy. As in all things, life requires attention, just as all living things. Plants, animals, trees and yes humans.

All seasons have particular beauty, changes, and those changes are wherever we physically, emotionally, and mentally will be.

I also believe when changes happen, there are seasons that naturally align with our actions. It is the feeling of wanting to do something you always wanted to do. Now, you have the time or money or both to do things.

We’ve been programmed from the age of 4 or 5 because that’s when school starts for most young ones. And yes, summertime and play is about to end.

So thus, the beauty of Fall! If you are at the stage in your life where you have the flexibility and time, Fall is a wondrous time to travel. Road trips, hikes, and glorious nature!

Soon, folks will be traveling because of back to work, school and well, busy life.

Europe is packed in the summer, as well as many national parks and tourist places. The weather is still beautiful in many places and most importantly, there just are less folks on the road.

I personally never travel in Summer unless it’s work-related, for all of the above reasons. The beauty and privilege of connecting with loved ones in spirit doesn’t take a vacation, it’s on-going. So, I do need some down time, and there are so many wonderful places, people, and cultures in the world.

My friend Linda Fitch (see below) is helping build a school in the jungles of Peru. Thus, so many wonderful ways to share in the world. Ms. Fitch says, “I’m involved in assisting a primary school in the jungle of Peru, called Children of the Amazon. I’m asking if you would be willing to participate in this transformative project.”

On that note, I’m looking forward to connecting and seeing many of you face-to-face in the upcoming months.

Warmly with Love,
Suzane
